The plane is a 42% Ultimate by AeroWorks from Aurora, Colorado. The plane comes either as an ARF or ARC. Flying weight is about 42 pounds. The Engine is a prototype 4 cylinder DA 200. Their were two produced for the Tournament of Champions and one had trouble just prior to the Contest. This is the one that he won with. Radio equipment is all Futaba, dual receivers, 2 servos per Aeleron, 2 per Elevators amd a push/pull system on the Rudder. 15 servos in all counting Throttle. Batteries by PowerFlite, Mentz Prop, Spinner is Carbon Fiber from Desert Aircraft(I think). Image Submitted by Don V. Adams |
