Hi everyone
I got an e-mail from
Eric Fisher this morning asking about this months meeting and it hit me
that I hadn't even gotten the newsletter out. It completely slipped my
mind, I can only blame it on early senility. Since the open house and
Fathers day fun fly are over things have gone quiet around the field,
just the usual everyday problems that always seem to happen like the
tail wheel servo failing on my ultra stick. I couldn't figure out why I
was holding full left rudder, the rudder was deflecting left but I was
turning right, away from the taxiway. An early end to a Saturday
morning.
Thanks to everyone
who helped make the Fathers day funfly a success. If you weren't there
you missed a great mornings flying. Special thanks to Steve Pursell and
his family for the pancake Breakfast. What a way to start the day, we
should do it more often.
I've heard some
complaints about the web site and the lack of photographs. If you have
any pictures from the open house or the funfly please forward them to
the web master. I know people had cameras at both events so lets get
some photos posted. I'm also going to suggest we do away with the
picture of the month section. We've only had one entry this year, it
make the club look like nothing is going on. In it's place I suggest we
have a photo directory section with a picture of all members along with
their aircraft and a small introduction to themselves. I'll get the ball
rolling and get mine done asap. Anyone without a digital camera we can
set up a day at the field for photos. Let me know what you think.
July meeting is
tomorrow (3rd) so I hope to see some of you then. It's the time of year
that a lot of us have other things going on with families and vacations
so I'm sure it will be an early night. So please attend if you can.
